A cookie is a small piece of data made of letters and numbers that a website sends to your browser and that your device stores. Cookies remember your preferences, make the website and application easier to use, and can be used for statistical and marketing purposes. Some cookies cannot be used to identify individual users; others contain a unique identifier.
We distinguish three main cookie categories:
Consent-based cookies are placed only after your explicit permission, which you can give, change or withdraw at any time via the cookie panel.
If you do not accept these, certain features will not work.

We have integrated Google Consent Mode v2. This means that Google services (Analytics, Ads) act on the consent/refusal signals you set via the cookie panel. Consent Mode v2 uses the following four consent flags:
| Flag | Meaning |
|---|---|
analytics_storage | Allow/deny analytics-related storage. |
ad_storage | Allow/deny advertising-related storage (cookies). |
ad_user_data | Allow sending user data to Google for advertising purposes. |
ad_personalization | Allow personalised advertising (e.g. remarketing). |
If you refuse consent, Google receives either no data or only cookieless, aggregated (non-identifying) data based on these flags. You can change your consent at any time by reopening the cookie settings on the website.
You can also disable or delete cookies via your browser's settings. Further information:
The public emergency page linked to the QR code on a MEDalon card does not use consent-based cookies. No statistics or marketing cookies are placed there because the page's purpose is life-saving in emergencies; nothing may impede the speed and reliability of scanning.
For detailed information on data processing, see our Privacy Policy. For questions: hello@medalon.hu.
